A variety of staff members
Hours Completed: 50
Course: NUR 667
Learning Insights: I was able to observe the workflow of front and back-office staff members as they checked in patients, called them to the back for rooming, and discharged them after visits. My observations and related studies helped me to appreciate how a personal health record and a more robust e-portal could allow for a more streamlined workflow in the future. It was also very satisfying and thought-provoking to get to design a new workflow.
